Who each one is for
ME-QR turns the usual model around: dynamic codes, analytics and unlimited scans are free, and the cost is paid by the people who scan, who see a Google advert before your content appears. The free plan allows 10,000 codes with a year of analytics history; Lite ($9.99 a month) makes a single code ad-free; Premium ($15.99 a month) makes every code ad-free and adds per-scan email alerts, API access and 500 MB of storage.
It suits a personal project where an interstitial advert is acceptable. It does not suit a menu, a business card or a product label, because the advert lands on your customer. QR Studio never shows an advert to anyone at any tier.
Where QR Studio is better
- No adverts, ever. Not in the app, not on scan, on free or paid. ME-QR’s free codes show an advert on every scan and the fix costs $15.99 a month.
- Price of ad-free. QR Studio Pro is $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year, including dynamic codes and analytics.
- Lifetime. $69.99 once. ME-QR has none.
- AI design partner. Not offered.
- Print-ready PDF and SVG from a phone. ME-QR’s pricing page names no export format.
- Offline. QR Studio works without a connection.
- Static codes. QR Studio’s static codes have no server behind them and cannot be interrupted.
Where ME-QR is better
- Free dynamic codes. Editable destinations at no charge, with the advert.
- Free analytics. A year of history on the free plan.
- Scale. 10,000 codes on Free and Lite, 1,000,000 on Premium.
- Frames. More than 1,000.
- Teams. Multi-user access on the free plan.

Switching
ME-QR codes resolve through ME-QR and carry its advert. Create the QR Studio replacement, reprint, and the advert is gone from that print. The old ME-QR code keeps working for anything you cannot reprint yet: the pricing FAQ answers “Are my QR codes valid after unsubscribing?” with “Yes, you can continue using your QR codes”, though without Premium the advert comes back.

Prices change. We read me-qr.com and its pricing page (monthly and yearly views, and the FAQ) on 24 September 2026. Yearly prices are shown as a monthly equivalent; the page does not print the yearly total.
