Who each one is for
QR TIGER started on the web and stayed there; the mobile app is a companion. Its strength is plumbing: pushing scan data into analytics and CRM tools, routing scans by country or time, and managing many codes across a team.
QR Studio started on the iPhone. Its strength is that everything, including design and print export, happens on the device in your hand, with an AI design partner built in.
Where QR Studio is better
- AI design partner. Describe a style, get variants, refine in conversation, and every variant is checked for scannability. QR TIGER’s AI features (as of September 2026) are campaign insights and a data chatbot, not code design.
- Print-ready PDF and SVG from a phone. With bleed and crop marks, ready for a print shop.
- Offline. Create, design and export with no connection. QR TIGER needs the internet.
- Pricing. A lifetime purchase exists, and Pro has no cap on dynamic codes. QR TIGER’s free plan also has unlimited static codes, but its dynamic codes are capped per plan.
- Privacy posture. No ads, opt-in crash reporting, no third-party trackers in the app.
Where QR TIGER is better
Integrations with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, HubSpot and Zapier; Multi URL codes that redirect by time, language and location; password-protected codes; white-label domains and enterprise support. If any of those is a requirement, QR TIGER is the right choice today.
Pricing side by side
QR TIGER’s plans scale with the number of dynamic codes: 12 on Regular ($7 a month or $65 a year), 200 on Advanced ($16 a month billed annually), 600 on Premium ($37), and Professional ($89) adds extra users and two white-labeled domains. QR Studio’s Pro tier is a flat $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year with no scan limits, and Lifetime is a one-off $69.99. For a single business with a handful of dynamic codes the difference over three years is large; for a marketing team that needs integrations, QR TIGER’s higher tiers buy things QR Studio does not sell.
Note
Prices change. We read qrcode-tiger.com/payment (both tabs and the Regular billing toggle), the homepage and the FAQ on 24 September 2026.
Switching
Static codes need nothing: make them again. QR TIGER’s FAQ says dynamic codes scan “until your paid subscription expires” and that expired accounts’ data is kept for up to a year. So reprint dynamic codes before the old subscription ends, and keep the old plan alive for a month of overlap.
